Roots

Hellyda’s story begins in Londrina, Brazil, where she was born and spent her childhood. As a teenager, she moved with her family to Portugal – a transition that would be the first of many border crossings in her life. It was in Portugal that she stepped into the world of modelling, a career that would soon carry her across the globe, city to city, culture to culture.

Eventually, that path led her to London. It’s the city where she chose to put down roots, and one she describes as having shaped her profoundly. London became more than a stopover between modelling jobs – it became home, and the place where the next, far more inward chapter of her life would begin.

The Unravelling

A few years after settling into her life in London, something shifted. An unexpected wave of emptiness and meaninglessness rose up in her – the kind of quiet crisis that can arrive even when, from the outside, a life looks full. Alongside it came something else: a deep reverence for the Earth, and a growing pain at witnessing its deteriorating state. That reverence turned into depression and anger as she took in how poorly the planet was being treated.

These two threads – a very personal unravelling and a very global grief – didn’t stay separate. They wove together and intensified, and the discomfort of holding both became the force that pushed her to start searching for answers. She wasn’t looking for a quick fix; she was looking for meaning.

The Search

That search took her into philosophy, psychology, spirituality, and activism. Rather than treating these as separate disciplines to sample from, she found that they complemented one another – that each offered a different lens on the same underlying questions she was carrying. Philosophy gave her frameworks, psychology gave her tools, spirituality gave her a sense of the sacred, and activism gave her a way to turn insight into action.

Out of this exploration, something new began to form: a clearer sense of who she was, what life meant to her, and what her role in it might be. What started as a personal crisis slowly became a fascination – and eventually, a calling. She made the decision to leave modelling behind as her primary path and build a new career rooted in these themes.

Finding Psychosynthesis

Her training in Psychosynthesis psychology became the place where everything she had been gathering finally came together. It didn’t just blend philosophy, psychology, spirituality, and activism into one coherent framework – it also brought her personal clarity and healing in a way nothing else had.

Through this training, she came to understand her earlier crisis differently. What had felt like falling apart was, in fact, a spiritual awakening. The difficult feelings she had been fighting weren’t there to drown her – they were there to redirect her. She began to see that the pain she had experienced carried meaning, and that challenges of this kind are often necessary: they shape character, and they prepare us for the work we’re here to do.

What She Believes

From this journey came a conviction that now sits at the centre of everything Hellyda does: that we are all part of a Greater Intelligence, a Greater plan larger than any one of us. It’s by reconnecting to this intelligence, she believes, that real healing becomes possible  and that the answers people are searching for, often without knowing exactly what they’re searching for, are found there too.

This belief shapes her sense of purpose. She sees her work as helping others navigate the dark waters of unconsciousness and trauma conditioning, so they can reconnect with the wisdom already inside them – wisdom that can guide them toward their true calling and toward self-realisation.

She also holds a wider conviction: that healing the self is inseparable from healing the collective. In the times we’re living through, she sees this not as a nice idea but as something urgent. It’s this belief that keeps her engaged beyond one-on-one work – supporting activism and projects dedicated to improving the conditions of people, animals, and the environment, alongside her counselling and her continued presence in conscious modelling.

Where She Is Now

Today, Hellyda carries all of these threads – the girl from Londrina, the young model who crossed continents, the woman in London who fell apart and found her way back together, and the counsellor who now helps others do the same. Her own wound became, in her words, the place where the light entered. It’s a lived-through philosophy she now offers as a guide to others willing to look closely at the difficult, painful, and even destructive aspects of themselves – trusting, as she does, that real wisdom and beauty can come from suffering when it’s met with the right support.
